Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Assignments may involve building a new platform, extending a live product, stabilizing an inherited codebase, or turning a promising prototype into something that can be operated with confidence. You will work across interfaces, application logic, APIs, data models, integrations, testing, and production behavior.

The role is not limited to moving tickets through a queue. We expect senior engineers to clarify ambiguous requirements, identify important edge cases, explain tradeoffs, and recognize when a proposed shortcut will create disproportionate risk. You should be comfortable contributing code while also improving the conditions under which the team delivers.

• Design and implement product features across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Translate business and user needs into maintainable application behavior.
• Review existing code and decide what should be retained, repaired, simplified, or replaced.
• Improve testing, observability, error handling, documentation, and release confidence.
• Work with product, design, infrastructure, and security contributors to resolve dependencies.
• Review code constructively and help establish clear engineering standards.
• Investigate production issues and communicate impact, options, and next steps plainly.

We currently work extensively with TypeScript, React, Next.js, APIs, relational data, Prisma, and cloud deployment. Exact tool overlap is helpful but not sufficient by itself. We are interested in engineers who understand system boundaries, state, failure modes, maintainability, and the consequences of change.

Successful work is understandable by the next engineer, behaves predictably for users, and can be released without unnecessary drama. Decisions are recorded, known risks are visible, and temporary compromises have an owner and a follow-up path. You help the team move faster by reducing confusion and rework, not by bypassing the controls that protect the product.

This opening is remote within India and is currently structured as contract work. Continuing assignments depend on project requirements, performance, and mutual fit. Some overlap with agreed team or client hours may be required. Compensation is discussed according to experience, responsibility, availability, and engagement shape.
